Maple Red

An elite fine-grained red granite with a noble carmine colour — one of the most prestigious red granites of Ukrainian origin. The colour of Maple Red is a rich, deep carmine-red without orange or purple deviation: a pure, monumental red that requires no embellishment. It is precisely this chromatic purity, combined with the fine, dense grain, that makes Maple Red one of the most recognised red granites in the memorial and architectural industries.

In its polished state, the surface achieves a mirror finish with a characteristic ruby lustre under raking light — an effect produced by the dense distribution of feldspar crystals without voids or inconsistencies. The fine grain ensures exceptional pattern uniformity: cuts and profiles are sharp, without chipping or unevenness, which is especially important when producing architectural details and memorial pieces with engraving.

Compressive strength in the range of 135–260 MPa and flexural strength of 31 MPa confirm outstanding mechanical properties. Density 2,650 kg/m³ and water absorption 0.18 %.
